JSP's EVO®5 DualSwitch™ is fully certified to both EN 397 and EN 12492, with the ability to change between the two standards easily at the flick of a switch.JSP have delivered an innovative helmet which can be used at ground level (EN 397) or at height (EN 12492).
Working on the ground - Switch up

The chinstrap release force of EN 397 is between 15-25kg (approximately). This limits the risk of choking, the chinstrap has been designed to release if snagged.
Working at height - Switch down

The chinstrap release force of EN 12492 is greater than 50kg, (approximately). This limits the risk of losing the helmet during a fall.
Features & Benefits
EPP Liner - Our robust Expanded Polypropylene (EPP) liner ensures class leading impact attenuation, offering side, front and rear impact protection, as required in EN 12492.
Tough ABS Shell - The EVO®5 safety helmet features an extremely robust ABS shell designed for superior protection. It features a distinctive five stripe design and the JSP Shield, an internationally recognised symbol of quality.
Ventilation - The shell and EPP liner are vented to increase comfort and allow a cooling air flow, reducing helmet temperatures by an average 2-3 degrees.
Secure fit - Featuring a fully adjustable 4-point chinstrap, an easy to use Revolution® wheel ratchet and a 3D adjustment harness, which offers 1-2-3 point depth settings for a perfect fit.
CR2 - CR2 is the biggest step-up in night time visibility / reflectivity of head protection to date. A high intensity reflective material offering, on average, 60% more reflectivity than standard reflective clothing. CR2 is optional.
Accessories - Universal attachment slots enable fitting of Surefit™ safety visors and Sonis® ear defenders. EVOSpec® integrated eyewear. Lamp bracket & business card holder. The Visilite® helmet wearer illumination system can also be fitted to increase low light visibility.

At SMI (Scotland) we pride ourselves on customer service and, to that end, our returns policy is very simple.
- First and foremost, your point of contact for all returns is your regular customer services representative and if for any reason they are unavailable, any member of the customer service team would be delighted to assist you.
- Defective goods (branded or non-branded) must be reported to your customer service representative within three working days of receipt of delivery for either credit or replacement. All goods remain the property of SMI (Scotland). No claims for damaged/missing goods will be recognised unless made in writing within 3 working days of receipt. Non delivery must be notified in writing within 10 days from receipt of invoice.
- Non-branded and non-defective goods may be returned for credit within 30 days of receipt.
- We cannot accept the return of any non-defective branded items.
- A charge of 10% of the value of the returned goods will be made as a re-handling fee for any returns.
In addition, all returns MUST :
- First be agreed with a member of the customer service team.
- Be accompanied by the relevant returns paperwork and by your original order number.
- Be suitably repackaged to avoid damage in transit (if in doubt, please ask the customer service team).
- Be marked ‘For Attention Of Goods In Department’ and sent to the address provided.
- Be received in resaleable condition if non-defective – ie unworn, clean and with original packaging.
Additional Notes:
Non-delivery must be notified in writing 10 days from receipt of invoice.
SMI (Scotland) can collect any Goods for Return for a universal charge of £9.95 which would be deducted from the senders credit value.
